At Case Western Reserve University, students pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering are provided the opportunity to become leaders in translational health technology. Our unique new specialization combines aspects of bioengineering, marketing, entrepreneurship, bioregulatory affairs, ethics and experimental design.
Our 11-month accelerated degree program, specifically designed for students with engineering undergraduate degrees, is a flexible course-focused option that’s your most direct route to a career in biomedical engineering. In less than a year, our students are fully prepared to translate laboratory successes into clinical trials and help treat some of the world’s most important medical problems.
When you apply, you can submit unofficial test scores and transcripts to alleviate application costs and logistics. Our teams will review your application materials and make a recommendation. You will only need to supply official transcripts and test scores if you are formally accepted to CWRU.
"This program is efficient, hands-on and located in a city with an ecosystem that is bar none for gaining experience in developing medical technology. The school put its resources & backing behind you from day 1."
